Description
-----------
FUJITSU Software ServerView Windows Server Integration Pack for 
Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) permits PRIMERGY Windows Servers 
to be monitored via SCOM. Both hardware and software components are monitored. 

The Product is released for Microsoft Products: 
 - Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2016
 - Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2019

The Product supports SCOM Management Console running on
 - Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2016
 - Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2019

Supported Operating Systems on managed nodes (PRIMERGY Systems)
 - MS Windows Server 2012 R2
 - MS Windows Server 2016
 - MS Windows Server 2019

Product requires SV-Agent version 8.00.12 or newer on managed nodes.
Product requires SV-RAID Manager version 6.4.14 or newer on managed nodes.


Installation
------------
The requirements specified below must be satisfied for integration. 

- Management station 
  • Microsoft SCOM 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022

- Managed PRIMERGY servers 
  • ServerView Agents >= V8.00.12
  • ServerView RAID Manager >= V6.5.1
  • Management controller iRMC (integrated Remote Management Controller)
    (for power consumption) 
  • Installed SCOM agent


Note on updating the ServerView Library Management Pack
--------------------------------------------------------
The ServerView Library Management Pack is used and referenced by all 
Fujitsu ServerView Integration Packs for System Center Operations Manager. 
If a ServerView Integration Pack contains a newer version of the 
ServerView Library Management Pack this new Fujitsu ServerView Library MP 
can usually be imported into SCOM without impacts to any other 
Fujitsu ServerView Integration Management Packs. 
In the rare case that a new version of the ServerView Library Management 
Pack is not compatible with the old version, it is necessary to uninstall 
all Fujitsu Management Packs including their Override Management Packs 
and reinstall all Fujitsu Management Packs from the folder 
‘Management Packs’ together with the updated ServerView Library 
Management Pack.


Limitations and Caveats
-----------------------
• The product is released for support of PRIMERGY servers with 
  SV Agents version 8.00.12 or newer. 
  PRIMERGY servers with older SV Agents version will be discovered by this 
  product but the shown health states in SCOM may be incorrect. 
  Warning or critical health states in SCOM may occur because of changed 
  SV Agents APIs used for this version of the SCOM integration.
  Please update the SV Agents or disable discovery for servers with 
  older SV Agents by using the associated Object Discovery override.
